This is something i will never have to worry about! I think the word undateable springs to mind. On the plus side i get to buy whatever watch i want when i can afford it. And i just talk to my own reflection anout watches 🤣🤣🤣

Have you seen that G-shock have just released the GBM-2100A, fixed all the problems with the GM-2100, now it has Solar, bluetooth (if you want it ?!) , beautiful colours and got rid of the nasty illegible negative digital display and replaced it with a positive display. It is now legible and beautiful.....as a result I sold my GM-2100-1AER and bought a GBM-2100A-1A2ER which has a Vapour Blue dial.......gorgeous.....check it out.....😁

Can I ask you what you think of the new (Patek Blue) version with solar and Bluetooth? Very interested in your views. I was buying this till I saw the blue

I have various automatics (Hamilton, Tissot, Orient, Seiko) and quartz watches (Casio squares, G-Shocks, Pro Treks, Citizens, Seikos) but if I were to pick JUST ONE as my "one watch", it probably would be my Oceanus S100. * Quartz accuracy, radio controlled automatic setting, solar charging so it won't need a new battery any time soon. * Stylish analog dial, looks very classy and works in both formal or a casual wear * Fairly lightweight as it is titanium * And since it isn't a mechanical movement, it won't need regular servicing just to keep it running. I imagine I'm stranded on an island (which also happens to be within range of WWVB or one of the other stations!); this is the one I feel would be the most reliable and least bother to have with me.

I just got a Henry Archer Nordso purple meteorite DLC. WOW!!! This is a beautiful well built watch. Henrik is a very good man and knows what he's doing. Customer service is personal with Henrik. Thank you.

I like what Marc is doing, but the logo is keeping me away. If it simply said "Islander" in a nice classy font in lieu of the logo, I'd be in.

I don't understand why you would buy an automatic watch that is a cheap 'homage' to a more expensive watch. Why not make/buy a quartz version? If you don't care about the fancy movement or the expensive brand and are just shopping for looks, why in god's name would you want a basic, inaccurate, unattractive/boring movement, instead of just having a quartz version? The movement isn't great and isn't great to look at most of the time, even if it has a display caseback. You've already made the decision that the look of the watch is what's important to you. If you're buying a homage you know enough about watches to probably have at least 4, and probably more than one automatic. Buy a quartz! An automatic makes no sense.

I've bought dozens of G-Shock's over the years and the M5610 is definitely one of my favorites. But I prefer the more expensive 5000U because of it's DLC stainless steel case and lugs. And the GA-B2100 is another favorite. But G-Shock NEEDS to start adding metal lugs to their watches. One of my GA-B2100 got caught on something and it busted the spring bar out on one side, and now it's useless without the Nautilus/CasiOak Gen4+ mods that just screw the module in. Another favorite is my GST-B300E-5A. It also has metal lugs and came with 3 DIFFERENT bracelets (i don't use any LoL, instead I use a StrapCode bracelet on it). But I just wish they could trim the GST-B300 down to the thickness of the GA-B2100. I know it's basically impossible because of resin vs SS, but that would be my perfect watch. My dam GST-B300 hits off of EVERYTHING because it's so thick! Thanks for the video! I have an old MTG-M900DA that I think shows the time separately when in countdown/timer modes. And I have a NON G-Shock Casio WS-2000H that I use when cutting the grass and painting and stuff that definitely shows the time while using the countdown/timer. That's another great regular Casio that counts steps too

I got mine yesterday (they've become available in europe) and I love the look of it. Very fun and now that it even got the wifes blessing even better.
